Quality Control Approach

The Project Executive is responsible for the overall quality control of all services delivered and will perform the final review of all specific project performance metrics. All employees are trained in the MEGA-K Quality control process.

The Process

MEGA-K uses a four-step process fundamental to the control of quality. The process is adapted to the organization’s goals for a particular project and the complexity of the processes involved. Standards are set in measurable terms for the type of work consistent with industry standards and the client’s goals. Our MEGA-K management team begins the quality control process by engaging in a highly structured interactive cross-functional mode with the client’s management team.  This also involves MEGA-K consultants assigned to the project or to identify and establish relevant performance indicators. MEGA-K understands that we must provide concrete information with an ongoing assessment of our efforts to meet the overall standards set.

We rely on screening methodology that focus on meeting performance standards for service quality. We understand that success factors inherent the various processes and or activities that we may be encounter in a particular project might often rely heavily on immediate feedback. The periodic quality checks provide feedback to our consultants so they know what, if any corrective actions they must take. Screening controls promote participation and catch problems early.

Measurement of performance in all of our work is a constant ongoing activity. We understand that for control to be effective, performance measures must be clear, and not difficult to understand. We ensure that confidence in measures identified and in place and are validated.  We work diligently with our clients to make sure that confidence is inherent our reporting of daily, weekly and monthly indicators.

Mega-K understands that the actual timetable for comparing performance against standards depends on a variety of factors such as the complexity of the project or activity being controlled. For example term projects this may be daily or weekly. For long term projects this may be monthly.

In the final step we work with clients to determine the need for corrective action. Decisions regarding corrective action require our managers to draw heavily on their analytic and diagnostic skills only after cross-functional interviews with the client as necessary.
